Mask of the revenent wont activate

Ive done both of the requirments before this update, and no the quest has been added to my codex but now it says i dont meat either requirement and i cant proceed with the qiest because i cant talk to the npc about it and i already have the mask in my inventory

Nothing happens when i go into tge plains with the mask either

Wait... there is a quest in the Codex for this? I just went into the plains with the mask equipped before the latest patch, got some voice over and saw the ghost (?), and activated the glowing puddle (??) - but nothing happened after that. (The same course of events triggered a second time a day or so later when I was on the plains with the mask - same result, nothing.)

I can't activate the quest either, it's frosted glass, but I am Observer Rank and have talked to Nakak... have I broken everything??

Quest is bugged for me as well, I meet all the requirements, I spoke to Narak and bought the mask but the codex quest still says I need Observer rank and to speak to Narak.

Wearing the mask and going to plains at night has no effect.

Support assured me that the quest is completable, regardless of its bugged state in the Codex.

1. I got the Mask from Nakak
2. Saw the "ghost" at night around Gara Toht Lake
3. touched hands
4. collected (oh god that grind) ALL of Revenants parts and crafted them
5. ???

Now nothing happens. Researching online, I am supposed to go out at night again, but no further ghost or touchy hand spawns. It seems stuck now. I have no idea how I am supposed to get the crucial Blueprint. It's especially infuriating with all the parts sitting in my inventory ready to go.
