Camera Glitch

Not sure if this is the right subtopic but when I change my brightness/contrast settings my camera becomes glitched out and stuck in a downwards perspective of my frame or operator. 
Wriggling the mouse around only makes a dizzying effect and the camera does not reset until I restart the game. I've duplicated the glitch several times in the Valis, Fortuna, Cetus and the Plains, as well as my orbiter.
