Missions' tasks don't show

I was completing contracts with a friend in Fortuna, he was the party leader. Whenever we entered an area in which we had to complete a mission, if I entered first to that area then everything worked fine, but if he entered before me the tasks wouldn't show up. The tasks under the map that told us to kill X amount of enemies, to defend the drone fromk reinforcements, or any task at all, wouldn't show up for me, not even extra tasks for bonus rewards. Luckily after we completed the objective I got the rewards for that mission anyways.
