Game freezing on certain syndicate missions and when trying to do specific riven veiled mission

When trying to complete the riven for, getting the final blow on four sentients, I choose Lua, Plato.  Once it loads and I use my iron skin for rhino, I lose some sound and once the sentients spawn the game freezes.  Every time.  I tried resetting everything and clearing my cache, but it doesn't fix it.  This same bug has been happening on certain syndicate missions as well.
