Arch-Gun in Atmosphere Equipping Leading to Extensive Vulnerability Point-

So, in such a hectic scene that is the Profit-Taker Orb boss, full of a painful cornucopia of supporting baddies, whipping out your Archgun to chew away at the limbs when it's finally time can turn into a death-sentence. When you draw out the big guns, an animation plays where it unfurls to full size and is armed, leaving you a sitting duck for incoming fire (or very angry Raknoids). An invulnerability window (flashy sheild effects!) or ability to just move out of this animation is much-needed, as no doubt this mechanic is meant for some high-intensity moments full of enemy fire... 

Additionally, an element on the HUD to show Archgun cooldown and how to unequip it would be useful, since currently having to bring up the gearwheel (once again halting all movement) is the only way to see and equip/unequip the heavy weapons. Maybe even allow it to be bound to a key or button instead of just being like any Gear item, perhaps...
