Umbra being killed whilst in operator sends you to space

I was completing sortie 3 as umbra and switched to my operator to avoid an arson exiles heat wave, I was at low health when I did that so umbra died when it hit him. When I transferred back into umbra I was sent into space. I was completely invulnerable and unable to use any abilities as well as umbra being invisible. /unstuck didn’t work as the glitch was still in effect meaning I was sent back into space again. I tried the command again and this time it put me in a sort of ghost mode where I was completely invulnerable unable to use abilities and able to fire my weapons, I was also able to clip through everything, the only way to fix this was to abort.

Whoa. Sounds very similar to the PoE glitch where you can walk on top of the map in certain conditions.
