Toggle Sprint Glitches Certain Mechanics.

While toggle sprint is active, you cannot bring up the chat window.

 

Holding fire on a full auto weapon while in 'toggle sprint' will result in a tiny burst and a continued sprint, whereas holding fire on the same weapon while using 'hold to sprint' will end your run and go straight into full auto fire.

The latter makes gunplay seem erratic at times (it'll feel like the gun is broken to anyone unaware of the issue), and the former is just annoying when trying to reply quickly.

 

Any other instances of toggle sprint interfering like this?

You cannot open chat when... you'r character is not standing still. This includes being knockdown, reloading, using skills, etc... It's not a bug, it's a feature. And i hate it for months. ^^

Yes, but standing still with Toggle Sprint still going does the same thing, and to anyone unaware this is the reason the chat window will feel erratic or broken, much like the full auto issue.

The majority of the playerbase won't be checking the forums, they'll just be playing the game and thinking these 'features' are symptoms of a broken game.

Well to be perfecly honest, the game features broken stuff for a long time... but hey, new UI?
