Picked up items (datamass, etc.) disappear when switching in between melee

I've been noticing that data masses and coolent cells from buried debts randomly vanish when I interact with them with melee weapons. I could be wrong, I never seen the pick ups disappear immediately, but when I press X to use it on something i realize the thing is gone and no were to be seen on the map. In one mission, I knew i had a coolent cell in my hand while i was in archwing, but then it disappeared when i pressed E and slammed the ground to place it in the lava. I also believe that the bug doesn't effect all pick ups or at least doesn't happen all the time, because I played a 1 hr kuva survival and dropped/picked up the kuva canisters many times while switching between gun and melee, and I don't believe it happened during that. Anyone else having similar problems?
