FPS drop after any kind of loading

Whenever the game loads anything (loading screens, inventory, star chart, data streaming in poe/orb vallis) my fps will drop to around 30fps. Simply alt-tabbing and switching back to the game will fix it, but it's a bit annoying. Nothing crucial though, but I was wondering if that's a known issue.

I'm running win10, borderless windowed, dual screen (60 hz and 144hz gsync), geforce 1080.
