Zergash
Hey there! It is always a bit strange when you get the "Oh no, our patrol got killed by Evil Corpus Soldiers!" It is literally every other mission we are being sent out to investigate. Sometimes they get captured, but most of the time slaughtered by Corpus. It should be known by now... So, I was thinking - what other things could potencially happen to them? And I got some more Ideas which should be easy to implement and spice up the missions on Orb Vallis! A - They had to seek shelter from a crazy snow storm! The "Sparkies" have to track them down - they are scattered and hiding in different caves - each of them spawns a group of mobs, that try to capture the patrol - and the frame has to save them before the time runs out, to recover their data! One of them has the DataKey, and you get a bonus if you save all of them before the time runs out. So with a bit of luck, you can complete it early with the first survivor, or go all the way and save all of them. It should not be too many - maximum 3-4 Survivors. B - They were eaten by a crazy Snowmonster! The player has to track an Elite Creature via the tracking mechanic - the track starts near the bodies of the patrol - apparently the creature ate the datacube, that the Sparky is supposed to recover - and has to track down the creature, using the hunting/preserving mechanic that already exists. The beast could be a "crazed" Robot machine that was at first deployed to sculpt & maintain Venus like the fish - and would be a new Creature Type - or it could be one of the Orokin "Bone Worms" we know from the story missions which attacked the patrol and swallowed? or dragged the datacube/patrol to its lair. The combat should be a bit more like a small boss battle - which favors the airborne combat, as the bone worm makes touching the floor super dangerous! C - They try to sell the data to a Grineer Spy So they need credits to pay of some depts and the queens are always listening to get an advantage on the Corpus! The patrol is up to meet the Grineer and you have to interfer by intercepting the patrol and capture them. They travel together - and start fighting, but they run away, like in a capture mission, and you need to get them all, and the DataKey. D - They got lost by a snow storm lost and need to be escorted. I know everybody hates escort missions... but it is still an option! 😄And it would be more or less similar to the Rescue Missions we already have. This would at least be a nice diversion from the current Mission flow... Edited March 20, 2019 by Zergash
(NSW)Shilvio
I like the idea of snowstorms in OV. Inside the storm, you could place our snow/ice monster (which is really a sentient, c'mon, who are we kidding).
(PSN)santospizarro
Snowstorm all so should add or distract combat like call of duty in some ways , dots🎗️screen effects, reload augmentsrivens reduce fall and firerates, damage of elemntLmods/erpon for unprepTe in playetz, fortuna & Cetus hveptoblems with data sandaquarium's moisturizer And latteny effects to balance overpowered players before they get bored. Strong emphasis on replayable and fun parts of the game should call for new enemies and challenging environments.

I really would love to turn up and tighten my survival skills, the enemies have little effect on player who solo, and there are not enough large creatures, which reminds me of dauntless and monster Hunter, badloot and typical bullets should be replaced for robot parts, augments and fragments keys to operate snow vehicles ,labweaponsin lockers and robot, Traps, pickups, mods should have positive and negative engraving weapons wirigged wings and temporary or detrimental features. reload damage, sover jestmap,or something's ambushing gottall
(PSN)santospizarro
Some bad guys on snowmobile/snowboards/ with uzis, and throwing granades from their muffler and they can dismount with parachutes, defeating the enemy for key card or vehicle access, locked otherwise explodes, connected to a radio tower and drones sending reenfrcemnt signals , EMP deters some mods and abilities, fire rate is cut by robots EMP towers and traps which can cause guns to fail and jam up reload for some areas and enemies. The game should be different set of detriment and enhancement based on weather and daylines, elite wolf should cause dismount to riders and tackle or knockback with other ragdoll, I think some elemental raptors from monster Hunter were interesting because they came in swarms even if they were defeated or knocked down, which causes players to escape or choose a strategic place to fight, there aren't many enemies who cause emotional response from players or fear across all of the planets, or negative space so players always have to rush out and start a new mission. Rushing to extraction is not that fun.
