Leo.doodling Posted March 25, 2019 Share Posted March 25, 2019 Some small ideas that could be added to high level maps or newer higher level maps to add a little bit of difficulty to the game. Nothing big just simple things to add that bit of challenge. -------------- More Environmental Dangers: more things that can hurt the player as they move through the level. One idea would be Grineer maps that have an 'outdoors' area could get rockets raining down like the Kela De Thaym boss battle. Another is more types of Grineer mines besides the electricity one so ones that do other types of damage. Corpus turrets sprinkled around the levels. Fake supply crates that at like the grineer mines. Survival Map without Life Support Dropping In: the Lotus or anyone else does not drop in life support into survival mission so instead the players have to rely on the enemy drops to resupply their life support Double Defense: Uranus defense style maps where players have to defend two of the def points at the same time Random Nightmare: players don't know what the nightmare effect will be, the map decides when the players spawn in Faction Invasions during Defense/Mobile Defense maps: the map shows just one faction but then half way through another faction invades so it becomes a bit of crossfire added on Alarms causes significantly more enemies to spawn: the alarms enemies activate will spawn much more enemies & more high level enemies so players decide if to deactivate or leave alone Boss have random aura: bosses come with random aura to boost themselves like health, shields, elemental damage, etc. which also boosts boss allies Void Specters from Junctions sometimes invade: not like the Stalker or such that put on a big show, they just show up after maybe some music queue or such and attack the top player or such -------------- Maybe some of these would not really work, just throwing these ideas that popped into my head out there into the void ✨ Thanks for reading 🔆 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
