Mysterious Black Box

Recently, while playing a corpus capture mission, I was rolling around and bumped into some kinda box with no textures and was just black. It was weirdly placed on a staircase and took up a lot of space. One of my teammates had marked it and asked the chat what it was. Anyone else had this problem or know about it?

I believe it's generally when the map loops on itself and there's a spot below you that is pushing up through the map where you are standing, but I could be wrong.
