[Mini-Boss Concept] The Corpus Scarab (Concept Art Included)

The game can use 'mini-bosses' to help change up the repetitive combat.

 

This concept is the Corpus SCARAB, a heavy quadruped unit which uses rocket pods and a concealed Supra to fend off the highest threats on a ship/outpost. Typically found in the open rooms of a Corpus Ship, or the outdoor portions of Corpus Outposts. These can be a secondary objective that gives you a mission bonus if they are present on a ship/outpost (if you kill all of them)

These guys have heavy armor in front, but their sides are very vulnerable. Their rocket pods and supra however are a good defense mechanism. to prevent movement. Just an idea, and it was kind of based on the original Jackal design.

I dont know about you but i find it adorable e~e I dont want to kill it.

 

They would look nice in pairs, like the hunters in halo.

Nice design, but in general we need way more unique enemies than now. This one could be a little bigger than but otherwise looks corpusish.
