Stuck inside a chat link

Hello, I am not sure if it's a bug or just me being stupid (like most of the time) but when I click on a blue link in the chat, sometimes I can't exit it: It says "Press B to go back" (I'm on Xbox) but it doesn't work, even after trying every buttons I'm still stuck. So is there a way out without having to restart the game?

It's happened to me as well on PC I couldn't find a way out besides accepting an invite from a friend into a mission or when I was prepping to go to a mission with the 10 second count down. Besides that though in my experience restarting is pretty much it.
