Maka.Bones Posted June 27, 2019 Share Posted June 27, 2019 (edited) Secret/hidden/unlockable/random quests, that we could acquire periodically by a specified trigger, or a randomly triggered event. It would be similar to old warframe quests, in that you would need to travel to different places/planets, but delivered with more of a nightwave/alerts theme. This is the basic structure for the quest generator, would work a lot like bounties but for the star chart (some of the tasks may repeat): 1) Discovery/Acquisition of quest, prompted by one of: - Acquire an item, or collect/build a set group of items - Unlocked after a story/map/mastery rank progression checkpoint - Rare/random Quest item dropped from a boss - Scanned from a map-relic (it could be random, like ayatan sculptures) - Discovered from a random "Hack" event 2) Information gathering/decypher, would require one of: - Interrogate/capture/rescue a faction informant - Research/scan things from an open world map/base - Open World spy mission - Survival run, to create a distraction so another tenno informant can get the info you need. 3) verify information, and acquire final product (reward with a mod, cosmetic, or weapon/warframe blueprint). These are two mission types, combined into a single mission. The series woudl conclude with one of: - Combination of Capture target, and spy vault missions--the captured target, or defeated boss, would give you access or the final piece of information you need to solve the puzzle, or get the blueprint. - Absolute spy infiltration ( no alarms whatsoever... only stealth kills) leading to a boss assassination - Enemy base raid; combined exterminate + Sabotage missions Edited June 27, 2019 by Maka.Bones Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
