Bad Connection Quality Detected to another client on LAN

So my brother and I often play Warframe together, and there seems to be this strange bug where if either of us joins a session hosted by the other, we have an average latency of about 400ms. However, if another person joins over the i+Internet, their latency is around 50-70ms, so I know it isn't our internet that's causing the problem. We also have an issue where if both of us join a remote session, occasionally one of us will have a 400-odd ms latency, but after retrying the connection a few times, it drops to around 50-70 ms. Please fix whatever the issue here is. It's extremely frustrating...

go to Options -> Gameplay and change the Network Ports [UDP] on 1 Computer
