Still Getting Stuck Between Cetus and Plains

Title says it all. It isn't consistent, but it has already happened more than I would like. I have good internet connectivity and my connection isn't bogged down with streaming services while I play. And I play solo. Maybe if there was an option in our pause menu to re-ping the servers once its gives us that Abort Restart, which has NEVER helped in my cases. Would've been pretty cool to keep the rare gems, fish, and those sentient cores I managed to grab, but the game decides that when it gives up, you lose all your items for some reason.

To further clarify, I couldn't abort because it said the mission was already complete, yet that was proven to be false, since none of my effort carried over.
