It has been nearly a year and Fortuna amp parts are still backwards

Fortuna amp braces are backwards, and Fortuna amp scaffolds are upside down (Cetus scaffold pictured for correct positioning/orientation reference point). It's not just in the preview, they are still broken when fully built. These have been in this broken state SINCE RELEASE LAST YEAR.

I'm not 100% sure if we are talking about the same thing... but aren't they "folded" and they unfold when you shoot with them?

You are correct. In the picture above the only thing wrong is that the brace is backwards and should be facing to the left. If the brace was flipped, everything would be correct once the prism flips out during active use.

However, as a result of a ""fix"" deployed in today's patch (25.5), now even Cetus scaffolds are rotated in a ridiculous manner that clips into the arm even during active use, and the broken Fortuna parts have remained untouched. In other words, this patch broke old parts that were fine and fixed none of the new ones.
