Abilities become unusable while playing with Mirage

I was playing the new Disruption mission on Uranus with Mirage Prime. Sometimes, if I tried to use an ability while holding one of the disruption keys, the game acted like I was in the middle of the animation, but never actually completed the action. As a result, I couldn't use any of my abilities (including going into operator mode), saying that the "Ability is in use" no matter which one I selected, nor could I use my melee weapon for whatever reason. All I could do was shoot and move. I tried dropping the key, which didn't work. The only way to return functionality was to die.
