Gameplay Feecback After Beta Play

Hello. This is the feedback from me and my team of 3 people from playing Warframe.

BUG LIST:

1. General Sargas Ruk had some trouble fighting us, as I was not taking any damage at all and was tanking the whole fight.

2. Server-side animations need more attention. What I mean by this is that we've noticed that in most ocasions, for instance, when I roll other see me sliding and so on.

3. When pressing the "H" key, the player model switches sides, that's great and all, however when on the right, the aim is not accurate at all - needs a fix asap.

4. Often the mission map does not remember where you last acted, so everytime we finished a mission we had to search again to where we have reached.

5. When someone is taken down, with some lucky button combination he can stand-up (while still dying), shoot, walk, run - everything. But only for a while, if not revived properly, he will still die.

6. Two times it happened where I was able to click to start 2 missions simultaneously. As far as we can see it through, the most votes takes the win.

7. Lower parts of doors bug and remain open or closed.

8. Kills often register as other types of kills, for instance I shoot, but get a kill with a sword (but more often the opposite happens).

9. Ancient Disrupters have NO death animation - or all of us don't see them. We are on different systems, therefore it's not something personal. The just vanish without a Death Animation when killed.

9.1 - SOMETIMES There is one, but we can't seem to distinguish when there is one, and when there is none.

10. At several points in the game we don't recieve XP, although we have certainly picked up at least affinity spheres and what not.

11. Swordsman challange does NOT count kills with swords everytime. The challange is unbeatable most of the time, due to this - it just stops counting sword kills as sword kills.

12. Target mission glitch, where on the mission the target does not appear captured on the minimap, although he HAS been.

13. Framerate drop on elevator arrival (probably systematic load, but still).

14. Shoot while picking up a captive - it can't be aimed and just wastes ammo. Better disable the left button or shooting while picking up the hostage/captive/target or however it was called in the mission.

SUGGESTIONS:

1. More item info. When I get an item that I cannot equip it is said nowhere what are it's requierements. Please, do add those.

2. . More UI info. For instance, I sold everything I had, just to buy the Ember Schematic, not knowing neither how long or what it would take for it to be crafted - things like this: materials needed and time to create are MANDITORY.

3. A option to change the direction in which the left and right buttons change the symbols while hacking would be nice - all left-handed players that we have spoked with agree.

4. Bosses need new gimiks, instead of rehashed ones that mobs use. Like the Jackal.

5. Also with the Jackal - less ground shaking would be lovely. It's really hard to aim properly. That's not hard - thats annoying.

6. Trade function. One has a shotgun, I have a mod, he is my friend, I WANT to give it to him. Therefore, I should have the right to do so. Please consider it.

7. More info on the capture target-type missions - where you have to find a person and capture them. The escort missions are self-explanitory, but we did not find any info on having to kill the target just to capture it,

8. Minimap Layering System needed - to indicate on what level I am, or my teammates are.

9. We think the game needs a visual cue on when there is a laser barier behind a door.

10. After a mission the game only shows how much XP bonus we have, but the rest XP GAINED is not shown. It would be better to see it gain up also.

11. The Shockwave Moas are cluttered together. Suggested fix: lower shockwave radius.

Please, continue making this game more awesome! It's AMAZING!

As far as i know, you can get them as daily rewards, or from alert missions. (These reactors to charge your frames/weapons to 30 i mean)

Could be wrong... better wait for the others to answer ^^

3. More info on classes and the differences between them. For instance, I, an Excalibur, should also be able to do a sliding slash or jump, much like the Volt. It is unfair to understand this after Rank 1 or 2.

There is more infomation between classes. Go check into your arsenal and you see the skill of the characters can do. If you click on the wrench you will be able to customize your character if you farm the orkin reactor. You can buy them or wait until you get the alert from the right planet.

In the last Q&A Video, the Dev Team are currently polishing the animations.

5. What is XP unlock? You unlock it at a level and then buy it or recieve it or what?

If you mean by weapons & warframes, you need "Orkin Reactor" for warframe. "Orkin Cataylst" for the weapons.

Those are achievable by buying them OR raiding a special alert with the "?" on certain planet to farm.

6. More item info. When I get an item that I cannot equip it is said nowhere what are it's requierements. Please, do add those.

It should say "Ranks" on the item info. a.k.a mods. Just hover your mouse over the mods see the infomation on them. If it doesn't show up. Just click it rapidly and it will pop up again.

7. More info on alarm systems - it took us 20 minutes to notice the glowin light. Probably add some more voice info?

There is a voice info to the alarm system being activated. You must didn't hear it.

1. Is the buyable currency available in any way through the game as loot or achievments? Because if not, how am I to fully upgrade a weapon? It's unfrair.

Ah, as you see here. Players are helping each other out here. I myself is starting up a clan for new players to adjust and getting some veteran players to help. (Sadly, it not gaining attention)

You can buy currency to help you advance through the game.

BUT

You can also get stuff from the "Alert" for special blueprints, mods and "Orkin Reactor & Orkin Cataylst".

Certain bosses drop warframe blueprint.

It not all pay2win. They are trying to push away from that to make the game fair.

PS: One thing I can't understand - after launch, will this game still be F2P? Also when is the release date? *asking stupid questions just because I can, ignore me :D*

I pretyt sure it should be F2P. Release data....um I'm not sure. If you don't have a beta key. I still have a spare or two.

I think this game just needs a tutorial.

Lately after the addition of even more tilesets for the Grineer, I find myself going in to the starting levels with those sets, and explaining to new players how to wall run, and the details of how to traverse certain parts.

People say this game is lacking in explanation of crafting and such, but right now it really needs a movement tutorial.

Pretty sure by XP unlock he means the rank of the profile. How Gorgon is rank 3 and HEK is rank 4 and unless you're that rank you can't buy the blue print or the gun itself. Unless it's with Plat.

Updated again. This time I fixed the topic so it's easier to navigate through now, I hope. Will continue to update as soon as we have something else to report. If there is any other way we can help - just say the word. ^^

4. Yeah whenever you are farming on different maps, make sure to make a new session for it. The host can disband the party then go to the map where you're going to farm, then have everyone join. When you decide to go to a new planet, make a new game. If not, it will go to the first map you selected for the session after you're done with a map.

6. From what I noticed, the first person to click a map gets selected for the mission. I wish it was the most votes gets the mission, but it's first click. Unless they've changed it since the last time this happened to me.

7. Normally it's from a mob dying and once the body is gone, it fixes itself. I have had it get stuck permanently before though. Once it got stuck on a hostage we saved from his room and then one person had to stay with him while the others finished to make sure we don't get a mission failed. Sucks.

8. Yeah the only real problem I've had is when elemental damage kills the mob, it doesn't count as the weapon kill. (IE I kill a mob with a pistol with elemental damage, the elemental damage kills it, it doesn't count as a pistol kill).

10. XP for your Warframes/Weapons? Or your profile?

12. Yeah it's definitely a bug where the icon on the mini map stays, but it also posts the exit icon on the mini map still. For now just have to remember which icon you're following until it's fixed.

13. I personally haven't had this problem so I wouldn't be helpful with this one, sorry.

6. Yep, been suggested a lot and I'm sure something good will be coming soon to accommodate this one. *grins*

9. Just don't sprint through all the rooms on a map that you know has cameras. But yeah I could see what you mean here, I have had my fair share of falling down going through a closed door since all there is right now are sounds to listen for.

10. Hmm yeah good point.

11. Yeah...they're not friendly and they are pretty deadly if you get chained by them.
