Anyone else having problems accepting an invite with the chat window open?

When I'm in my ship, in the menu so I can access the chat window and do some trades, if I get invited fast enough before I'm able to close the chat window, I can't accept the invite, the PS4 keyboard keeps coming up. 

 

Since O exits, I have to decline the invite, then exit out of everything, then get the invite, go into my menu and hit square when the prompt comes up.

 

I hope there's some shortcut I'm not aware of, or is this just the way it is?
