Massive FPS drop

75% of the time when i go into my frames appearance my fps drops to about 10 and then slowly starts going back up, and sometimes when i click out of the game (i dont play on fullscreen) and back in it sometimes fixes it but only sometimes. I play on medium graphics, but even when i set everything to low/off the fps drop still happens.
Since i change my fashion way too much it really pisses me off.
i've tried verifying and optimizing the cache each time an update drops (wich still doesnt help)

yeah im having the same problem. my frame rate also seems to reset to 60 everytime i start the game, and i have to go into options and change it back (even though it still says 85) to 60 and then back to 85. Even then the frame rate drops to the 40s and 50s when i open the star chart, enter certain missions, or encounter groups of enemies. My GPU is working fine in other games, so this is definitely something to do with the last warframe update.
