Thrown melee doesn't proc Life Strike

Before the Melee update, life strike would proc just fine while channeling if you threw a Glaive, but since the update i guess the throw isn't counted as a "Heavy attack". If the intent was to remove the ability to heal with thrown melee i guess the bug is that the mod can still be equipped to them (though i hope that's not the case)
