(PSN)Kayuosan Posted November 28, 2019 Share Posted November 28, 2019 We all know about performance dip since Old Blood launched, but also it was a large update with lots of additions and changes, so it'll take quite a bit to identify the causes of these performance drops. Vauban Flechette Orb spam I was in a full squad with one Vauban (Earth interception - Gaia) that kept using lots of flechette orbs, causing my frame rate to drop around 15fps if that. I play on ps4 pro too, even with my game settings - dynamic resolution auto, gpu particles off, and most other settings in favor of performance, this is by far is the lowest frame rate I've had since the update. By knowing that, I avoid using flechette orb when I play Vauban. Yeah we can compare and contrast Saint Altra Vs Old Blood updates to narrow down whats causing the performance hit. My best guess are Melee Phase 2 FX, Frame Reworks and perhaps even Tonemapping changes to be possible contributors.
