Kuva Spihons vs Kuva Survival - Fun Factor

If Kuva Siphons were more interesting/engaging/fun to take out would you be more inclined to choose them over Kuva Survival? Or would you always choose the game mode that gives you the most Kuva for the least effort in the shortest amount of time?

Kuva Siphons seem like another example of "interesting idea / poor execution" and DE's track record on iterating "meh" systems is pretty spotty. They either see positive player response to something immediately and make a concerted effort to tweak it to perfection, or it's deemed "good enough" after few minor changes, or it's a dud from day one and is never revisited. I started playing in late 2018 so I wasn't around when The War Within dropped. Were Kuva Siphons popular upon release? Or was it just the only way to get Kuva? For such an important element of the game (Rivens) and the ongoing story (The Queens) they just seem pretty underwhelming, as content and as a source of Kuva.

Spawn locations are poorly suited to mechanics

  • Some tiles are acceptable, however most tiles are too small/crowded.
  • Kuva Cloud spawn points are predictable and frequently hang up on objects and have to be hunted down.
  • Tiles need to be considerably larger or on the wide open "outdoor" tiles.
  • "Arena" tiles like ones used for defense missions or "boss" fights would be an improvement.
  • New tiles specifically designed around Kuva Siphon mechanics to make them more fun/intense/challenging would be ideal.

Kuva Siphon encounters are too slow.

  • The spawn rate for Kuva Clouds is too low and slows down Warfame's, generally faster, game play loop.
  • Spawn tempo just needs to be increased, period.
  • Having two or more clouds "in play" at the same time would lend itself to Warframe's frenetic gameplay.
  • Perhaps Kuva Clouds could move incredibly fast but a a well timed Void Blast to the Siphon itself would slow them to the speeds we're familiar with now.

The Operator

  • Should Void Dash work against Kuva Clouds or should it just be the means of getting into range to use your Amp or a Void Strike?

Kuva Enemies

  • Kuva Guardians are interesting, or at least something different, but they can simply be ignored on larger tiles.
  • If Void Blasting a Siphon was a mechanic it could spawn Guardians at the Siphon and near active Clouds instead of them just mobbing around like every other enemy.
  • I have no idea what purpose Kuva Jesters serve other than more cannon fodder.
  • What if they could jump on a Warframe's back preventing Transference or jump on the operator preventing them from entering void mode?

Would any changes matter at all since Kuva Survival lets you go on autopilot and just kill stuff?

What would you do to Kuva Siphons to make them less trash?

Before we could shot lasers. Void dash was the ONLY way to catch clouds. Not sure about the screaming power...it had a long cooldown to use against clouds anyway.
