Grendel glitches when falling into water during pulverize

I was doing missions on Uranus tonight and discovered that if you fall into the water while using pulverize it triggers the change into archwing mode, this causes Grendel to get stuck half way between animations and appearing squashed until the mission is left or even getting stuck and unable to get out of the water.
