Demon_Mask
so i know of the bug where the stalker spawns inside the pod on defence missions and the pod becomes invincible for the time he is in it. this just happened to me a few mins ago and it got me thinking.... what if this is not a gug at all....what if the body inside the cryo pod is that of the stalker, being defended as it is waiting for extraction back to a tenno facility for research/questioning and all the surrounding violence wakes him up and he bursts out of the pod to join the frey. sneaky DE, making us think it was a bug when it was a bit of in game lore all this time aye? tsk tsk. BTW: im not serious, but it is fun to think about.

Czarok
What if the stalker is actually just subconscious remorse for killing someone made to manifest physically so that tenno can "kill" that remorse and continue to be effective in battle? That would explain why his weapons are essentially darker versions of other weapons, why he uses jumbled warframe abilities, and why you can't actually kill him. /Keanu adding onto this... This would explain why the stalker has unintelligible whispering noises, but the tenno knows what he's saying (text). His weapon names correspond to the emotions associated with remorse. A bit contrived, but this would also explain/make sense why the stalker spawns more/is more dangerous when you have a low level warframe; the tenno is weaker, and thus more susceptible to succumbing to remorse, and when stalker does spawn he's much more dangerous. Also, defeating the stalker gives the player a chance to make and utilize his weapons; utilize hate, dread, and despair in battle. A literal and figurative, weapon and emotion, utilization of these emotions as a weapon. Fun toilet thoughts. Kaian-a-coel
I support the "insane rogue tenno" theory. Why insane? Well, he's avenging GOLEM of all things. Cryosleep brain damage maybe?

Completly agree! and now to shamlessly re-direct to my amazing (if i do say so myself) thread on how to fix the stalker =] https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/112437-stalker-future-mini-boss-reworks/ Edited October 2, 2013 by Demon_Mask
