Primary/secondary weapon able to be used in RJ archwing

So I found a very simple glitch that allows you to use your primary and secondary weapon while flying an archwing in railjack missions, it also makes you not register to the enemy so you don't get fired on.

1)get in archwing catapult.

2)press options button on controller then hit circle to leave options, your wf will now be visible and floating in space with the catapult aiming reticle around it.

3) launch from catapult then change weapons with triangle, and you now have access to your primary gun.

(edit: this does not work when you are the host, just like the elytrons Afterburner does not work if you are host.)

I've found this happening a lot without needing to open the options. Probably about 80% of the time when I launch from the archwing slingshot but don't hit a ship, I will end up in space with my primary and secondary weapons instead of my archgun and no way to activate the archgun without returning to the railjack.
