Archwings melee wont work

When i equip the archwing via the archwing launcher and hit the melee button to exit the archwings i get absolutely no effect, as of now the only way to exit the archwings is to change the currently equipped weapon to your melee and using middle mouse button for the heavy attack, i though this only affected the deployed archwings, but when i tried using melee with titania's razorwings i received no response at all.
