Mouse cursor resets on using keyboard

I got a new monitor with a native resolution of 3840 x 2160. When i set the game to borderless fullscreen and try to use the keyboard to position the cursor (i.e. for the revive button when it's needed fast), it instantly resets itself somwhere in the top left corner of the screen. i can still use the mouse, but the problem is persistent and really annoying. This problem does not occur in fullsreen, but then again the cursor is extremly slow in the menus.

Edit: this seems to be directly affected by "Window Scaling Mode", the relocateing happens when scaled, slow mouse during native
