Mastery trail room visibility issue

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post about this, but I literally cannot see in a mastery room unless I break my brightness and contrast.  I just went to do mastery rank 20, this was my view because I forgot to adjust. 

Previously I messed with contrast to be able to see the floor in the stealth mastery mission.  I also couldn't see enemies at all beyond a certain point, I'm not sure why.  Here's how it looked so that I could see enemies and floor in the mastery trail. 

Then here's how it looked right after, when I was in the relay immediately after the trail. 

I'm really not sure why this is happening.
