Lich missions not spawning

After the mainline update I went to work on unmasking Murmurs for a lich that I had spawned before the update. This lich was only on one planet and I started there expecting it to spread outwards as they usually do. After my 4th or 5th mission I noticed that no other planets or nodes on the planet I was working on, Saturn IIRC, had been taken over by my Lich. I went to several other planets to be sure it wasn't just a minor glitch on the visual side of the larger view of the Star chart. My lich only spoke on one other planet, Sedna, and when I clicked on some random nodes on that planet nothing came up. I am at an impasse here as my lich only has one or two more nodes left before I cannot take him any further without riding piggy back on a friend's mission. Please help.

Have you fought your lich and allowed them to rank up?  That's how they spread to other planets.
