shinmikomi
As the title says, I'm getting constant crashes and low fps on and ONLY ON(I thought that could be important because I'm also getting low fps at the railjack anomaly, but the game doesn't crash) the open-world locations. Usually the game crashes on transitions, like when im qutting the Fortuna or Deck 12. Sometimes the game just closes, sometimes it shows "Insufficient video memory" error. The problem is, Firstly, it happens on any settings, no matter if I set ultra or minimal, I'm getting low fps and crashes. Secondly, I have 4 GB of video memory and I've seen people playing well even on 2 GB. So I'm wondering if the problem is with my PC or drivers, or may be some memory leak happens in the game. Also, I've monitored my video memory on "transitions" and it really immediately jumps to 100% of usage(but I swear, it can happen even in orbiter EVEN when im just standing still doing nothing), but the game crashes only in 1 out of 7-8 cases. PC specs: i5-7300HQ 2.50 GHz GTX 1050 Ti 8 GB RAM UPDATE: Now crashes are happening on the Scarlet Spear at Railjack missions Also these are error lines in EE.log file: Sys [Info]: Error [Info]: Failed to allocate 2,947,800 bytes (PhysX) Sys [Error]: Sys [Error]: Working Set: 2,974,195,712 / 7,466,369,024 Sys [Error]: Sys [Error]: Heap Size: 2,778,634,448 / 2,980,052,992 Sys [Error]: Heap Allocs: 1,328,513 Sys [Error]: Heap Segments: 512 Sys [Error]: Sys [Error]: Buckets: Bytes / Allocs Sys [Error]: AnimController: 1,043,472 / 5,481 Sys [Error]: AnimData: 11,645,296 / 2,638 Sys [Error]: CacheMgr: 12,689,136 / 9,240 Sys [Error]: CacheSharing: 12,113,584 / 20 Sys [Error]: CacheToc: 27,205,552 / 115 Sys [Error]: ConnectivityData: 39,482,208 / 17,678 Sys [Error]: ConnectivityMgr: 4,651,600 / 3,530 Sys [Error]: ConnectivityTree: 4,958,016 / 70 Sys [Error]: Deps: 17,170,544 / 17,363 Sys [Error]: DriverData: 552,608 / 2,702 Sys [Error]: EditorBase: 480 / 3 Sys [Error]: GameStats: 624 / 4 Sys [Error]: GameSwf: 20,433,296 / 98,050 Sys [Error]: GraphicsData: 64,153,376 / 226 Sys [Error]: GraphicsSys: 7,882,048 / 28,446 Sys [Error]: Instances: 366,048 / 2,987 Sys [Error]: Internal: 414,445,568 / 484,748 Sys [Error]: JobMgr: 214,992 / 1 Sys [Error]: Localizer: 7,332,432 / 439 Sys [Error]: Lua: 42,921,248 / 223,891 Sys [Error]: Navigation: 4,000,192 / 154 Sys [Error]: OpenSSL: 462,304 / 5,978 Sys [Error]: PhysX: 242,810,496 / 70,295 Sys [Error]: PhysicsData: 7,834,896 / 151 Sys [Error]: PropertyData: 32,279,632 / 38,028 Sys [Error]: PropertyText: 113,246,176 / 1 Sys [Error]: RegionMgr: 3,456 / 4 Sys [Error]: ReplicationMgr: 5,555,568 / 3,203 Sys [Error]: Resource: 1,619,843,440 / 245,116 Sys [Error]: ResourceMgr: 12,143,968 / 4,459 Sys [Error]: SmartPtr: 3,869,456 / 59 Sys [Error]: Sound: 248,672 / 116 Sys [Error]: String: 14,182,992 / 47,828 Sys [Error]: Symbol: 800 / 1 Sys [Error]: Temp: 3,008,896 / 1,665 Sys [Error]: TypeMgr: 38,269,984 / 13,824 Error [Info]: 593.116 Error [Info]: Assert: (Out of Memory) Application error messages: EncounterScheduler.lua EncounterScheduler JobNpc.lua JobNpc HeatFissure.lua CheckGoals BipedSpawner.lua RandomChanceToEnable Edited March 24, 2020 by Taweryawer
TironStarstryker
I was getting this when I first came back to the game the other day, and fixed it by using DDU to remove my existing GPU drivers and reinstalling them. However... I've been monitoring my GPU stuff the last few hours due to a driver crash issue that started after the hotfix, and at my last crash the GPU Memory usage had *just* exceeded 4GB, on absolute maximum settings, in Orb Vallis. So it's possible you *really are* running out of GPU memory and need to turn the settings down a bit.
peq42
I'm getting high GPU usage even on relays without that many people inside lately. I think one of the recent updates broke something Never experienced that many lag spikes in the game
lceAngelx
High GPU usage is normal. It means your GPU is working as hard as it can. You should worry if your GPU usage is low AND you're getting bad performance.

High GPU usage and lag may mean the game is doing more calculations than it should, low GPU usage and lag may mean the game is calculating too many things on the CPU. Honestly I never had lag issues before this last update. Always played on max settings at a perfect 60fps, but now every now and then it drops to 30fps for a second or so then goes up again at random times on earth tilesets where the new missions appear
Alchemist94
can confirm, i had high setting on gtx 1070oc with ultrawide 21:9 high geometry medium effects particles low shadow and high texture, i had no problem on poe still now. today logged to orb vallis and if we were 4 tennos, i got drops under 60-75 fps (hurts my eyes on my 75hz monitor) usually were 80-90 :S yay
