Bring back alerts and use them for squad link

This is how you can give fish team an incentive to help space team in a way that doesn’t force them to deviate from their current objective. Every hour every player receives an alert in their navigation window. These are unique mission types, like being the team of tenno operatives that raid the ship for supplies in survival; the mission type is random and can be different between players.

Upon selecting the alert, you will be matchmade with a squad of players doing the same alert, as well as the squad that you are helping. If you selected a supply raid for example, you will be helping a randomly selected squad in any survival mission across the game. When you join the game, you will enter a chat channel with the squad you are helping, and they will be notified that you have joined. If they stick around long enough for you to complete your objective, both of you are rewarded! This way, the success of the space team is not dependent on the fish team’s ability to complete their mission. It’s just a nice bonus for both squads.  

Rewards for space team could be things like resource booster for the rest of the mission, or a bonus reward from the reward rotation. Rewards for fish team would be a special kind of currency. These could be traded in to an NPC somewhere for unique rewards, like the nightwave credit store. Hell, you could even just tie this to nightwave and make the currency nightwave creds, at least 5 per mission. This is just my ideas on how squad link could be implemented because just like everything else in this game it has a lot of potential.

This is a good way to ensure Squad Link is still connected to the game, and gives alerts something unique so they're not just... well, generic mc genericface missions. They were poor in their intended role, but this potentially gives them a new one.
