No one wants an ear into their living room or bedroom without knowing it. Actually, the mic being turned on without any indication to the user might be illegal in many places. That said, it would be nice to have DE implement this, as Nintendo doesn't seem to supply the APIs that would allow developers to use voice chat while the Switch displays the username and mic indicator (not too sure how it's done on PC, though).
