AlphaVilkas Posted April 23, 2020 Share Posted April 23, 2020 (edited) Summary When this bug occurs, the player becomes incapable of jumping from the ground until they are knocked back by another self-damaging explosive. (Exception: If player becomes airborne, they can perform a jump mid-air). Replication (Done with Kuva Bramma): Tested with multiple frames (Limbo, Frost); Fire Kuva Bramma so that the player is within range of the explosive radius. In most instances, the player will receive the knockback/roll animation (that you can cancel with a jump if timed correctly). This is as intended. In some cases, the player will begin the knockback/roll animation, and almost immediately after it begins, the resisted knockdown animation will play, effectively interrupting the animation. This can result in the player becoming incapable of jumping while on the ground. In-Game Fix If the player can use the explosive weapon to trigger the full knockback/roll animation, they will be able to jump once more. Note While player is effected by the bug, they are capable of performing all other actions (interacting with objects, firing, sliding, casting abilities, reviving, and so on). Knocking your frame over once again does fix the issue, but it can be a great pain in the gluteus maximus to suddenly be unable to jump and potentially die.
