An Idea On Corrupted Mods

Hello fellow Tenno,
I know you were all vault-hunting  at some point in the past week.

In my opinion those, execept for 3 or 4, are underpowered and not worth using.

I might have a solution (or not):

Treat corrupted mods (from now on referred to as CMs) like better versions of existing mods.
For example serration and heavy calliber:

Serration keeps it's stats, but HC stats would be 20% increased damage and additional recoil.
And those two couldn't be applied at the same time!


same goes for pressurepoint and spoiled strike:
Spoiled strike would increase the damage up to 150% but the attacks would be slower

I am pretty shure you get what I'm trying to say.


I also got an idea on how to realise that tecnically, but it's boring and not worth reading


The mods obviously get referred to as an Id or a string, that contains the location and the name.
So you just name them the same, except you add a 0 or a 1 (for "coruppted" or "not corrupted") at the end of the name.
By comparing the substrings(0, length - 2) you could disable the simultanious use of the mods with the same power.
Yay!



And again this is just an idea I had, that, in my opinion, would sligtly improve the CMs.
