papadelta23
Okay, so just started meddling with the fusion process. my firs was seretaion and adding a bunch of fusion cores bringing it up to 75% damage. are there any other methods to get better dps mods, or is it best to do it the way I did? Stefe
The typical way to get DPS mods is to farm, and farm a lot. Transmuting is also another method, but it's really for when you have an overabundance of mods.
Jector
The most efficient way to boost a mod in cost/points is to fuse the same mod with it. After that, using fusion cores is next best. Fusing different mods of the same polarity is 3rd and fusing mods of different polarity is the least efficient. I wouldn't reccomend fusing different mods over just selling them or transmuting them, but if you're really low on cores and desperate for a boost you could use some. On a related note, there is diminishing returns on fusing boosted mods over the equivalent original value mods. For example, using 4 separate mods that are level 2 will give you more points when fusing over one mod of level 4 that was created with 4 level 2 mods.
