DE please remove the completed mission can't abort from railjack missions

Why would you remove the ability to abort a mission? That thing is there to prevent you having to exit the game,start it again,log in, and then do the thing you wanted to do but was interrupted by a bug.
I myself for some reason lost my hud after going from 1 railjack mission to another in public as the host and also couldn't pilot the ship or get into the gunnery seats as well as anyone who joined me,and then after 5 minutes someone tried going to free play and fixed the couldn't acess pilot and gunnery seat issue.
Problem is that i couldn't and again everyone else couldn't acess the navigation console to get to the drydock and couldn't even abort because of the game preventing me because it was a completed mission despite it being aborted midway
Why is this a thing?

are you saying that the button to leave the Mission simply wasn't on the menu?
