Vectos
As the title states. Also, why isn't there a general disscussion or Q/A board here though? It feels awkward asking questions here.... -ninja fail: Can't correct myself by spelling shields right in the title. :(- Edited December 31, 2012 by Vectos
Ronyn
I'd like clarity on exactly what armor does as well.
[DE]Steve
Damage is applied first to shield. If the shield absorbs the damage (shield # >= damage #) thats it, done. Shield is reduced by the damage amount... in this way shields can be (temporarily) destroyed. When zero, they have no effect. Armor is different. Its a straight reduction/dampening on the damage that is applied to health.

Killbe
we need a mod which upgrades shield's strength, something like +xx% shield resilience or resistance vs damage, because in some points, it does not matter the shield pool, you just get 1shotted which sometimes is frustrating, though I think this game needs a hard mode lol. It would also be helpful to get a mod which increases poison resistance, so whenever going in highlevel infestation missions, you can care a bit less about poison
