Sentinel Mod Ideas

Some ideas to make our little shoulder-pets more effective/durable.

 

Ablative Armor (Defense)

Reduces Damage received from Elemental Attacks (Fire, Ice, Toxins, etc)

3 Ranks - Reduces damage by 16/32/48/64%

 

Bond (Utility)

Causes a percentage of the Warframe's base-stat mods to affect the sentinel as well. (HP, Shield, Armor, HP/Shield Regen)

3 Ranks, Shares a bonus of 15/30/45/60%

 

Hazard Filters (Precept)

Allows the Sentinel to absorb nearby hazards (Toxins, Fire, etc.) every so often for several seconds.

5 Ranks, each rank increases absorb range and duration.

 

Material Overhaul (Defense) (Nightmare Hybrid Mod)

Increases Health and Shields.

9 ranks, increasing HP/Shield by 20% each

 

Target Scanner (Utility)

-Highlights the silhouettes of enemies in detection range, coloring them based on their current health level.

-Improves Sentinel's targeting towards enemies in range, causing it to aim for weak spots and through cover if the weapon has enough puncture to hit the target.

Has 3 ranks. Scanning range of 15/30/45/60 meters.

I'm liking the 3 middle mods suggested.

 

The Ablative armor is a little too much, on the other hand, separating the mods as elemental resistance while retaining the percentage is pretty decent enough. (Referencing from the resistance mods of Warframes)

 

Target Scanner, well I could tell it pertains the role of Sci-fi but Silhouetting the environment filled with enemies in your screen is not really the most comfortable thing for certain players with not so good computers. Yes, I do agree that the AI of the sentinels is actually great for the mod but it requires a bit more hard coding to link the Sentinel and its weapons to get the puncture system right.

Material Overhaul is kind of what the ospreys do now, why Shouldn't we get such a boost.  And the Hazardous Filter.. great Idea.  Like it uses its exhaust or something to blow the hazard away. lovin it.
