    • level 140 gunners are mixed in, yet still take 1164, indicating that the armor being taken into account is that of the original target

now for some math because everyone loves math:

the damage values seem to be calculated by original value*(MFD multiplier)*(1 - (armor damage reduction)^2)

  • 2719*1.5*(1-0.9651^2) = 279
    • at level 140 a heavy gunner has ~96.51% DR,
  • 2719*1.5*(1-0.8401^2) = 1200 at level 40
    • at level 40 a heavy gunner has ~84.01% DR

the MFD multiplier portion of the formula is confirmed by reducing power strength from 209% to 95%, which yields 553 damage per bleed proc

tests were conducted with a scythe zaw with only true steel for 100% crit chance on heavy attacks and amalgam organ shatter
