VsyaVlastSovetam
I don't know if it's intended, but GPU particles enabled massively increase my CPU usage in game. With GPU P every explosion increases CPU usage massively. With GPU P disabled i have around 50-55% cpu usage looking on explosion and with GPU P lowest even if I don't see explosions CPU usage spikes to 75-85% and to 100% with more than 1 simultaneous explosion. I had no problem running GPU P on middle before during railjack retrofit patches, but now it makes my cpu run for 100% for allmost all mission time and causes high temperature build up. And it also seems to hapen only during index for some reason. At least in normal missions I dont see those huge cpu spikes My CPU CORE 2 Quad Q9400, GPU Nvidia GTX 560TI, OS Windows 7 x64, DirectX
cephalon_kiba
You should probably turn them down, you should be able to get slightly better performance if you set dx11 in the launcher & use the original graphics engine.
HueyFreeman.
Try this settings if u play on 4k or if you're experiencing performance issues: 1. Enable everything(Max out everything, ignoring the yellow bars) 2. GPU particles: Medium or low or disabled (Most demanding setting imo)(in my case: medium) 3. Dynamic lightning: Off 4. Resolution: 4k(optional) 5. Antialiasing: Disabled(or txaa if your system can handle it and u cant stand jagged edges at lower resolutions) 6. Classic engine (haven't tried enhanced engine tho) 7. Blur reflection off (in my case off, but I'm not sure if enabling will impact performance at all, while having local reflections turned on) 8. Local reflection off (in my case: on) Disabling dynamic lighting or reflections or gpu particles will give u a noticeable performance boost guaranteed (basing myself on an older system i had). Hope this helps :v
