Players invited to orbiter are dropped from party before they can load in

I suspect this may be a problem specifically with my game because none of my friends are having this issue inviting me or others.

When I invite someone to my orbiter, they just get dropped from the party before they're able to load into the session. How do I fix/troubleshoot this issue?

Their game freezes partly into loading and then the error message they get is "Connection to the host was lost"
