Crania Ephemera missing texture

I don't know how long this has been going on but after buying Crania Ephemera from Teshin the ehemera cannot be colored in any way. It appears as if it is missing texture, the skull the spine is pure black, unlike the thumbnail of the item and several showcases online that is color-able. I tried changing to different energy color on different frames, but ultimately it is still pure black.

Please fix this because I don't wanna waste my Steel Essence on a bug.
