Missing acquired item after a mission

this issue is from my friend trying to help her. the issue is that after finishing her quest acquiring her blueprint, she got dc and sent to cetus as i recall, then checking her list of acquired items all were gone. is there a way to fix this? is there a way to get her items back? i did encounter this too few times but none of the lost items were important. but hers was different because it took her a while to get the blueprint she needs.

please respond to anyone who has experience and knows to fix this.
