Latron Prime Can't Hit Headshots On Corpus Crewmen

Today when I got the latron prime, I noticed that I can't hit headshots on corpus crewmen with it. I tried doing so with other weapons and I could hit headshots. I tried at close range, long range and mid range, solo and online, nothing worked.  When I shot their heads, I just didn't do any damage. I'ts becoming really annoying because I can't use the weapon's accuracy in my advantage.

You need an Armor Piercing mod.

Are you sure you have AP mods equipped on your Latron?

This is true. The other weapons that landed headshots either had AP damage mods on them, or they dealt some other kind of damage. Like if you were using a Hek or Sobek, they shoot hitscan bullets but deal Impact damage. Or you could have been using something that ignores armor like a Boltor or Vectis.

 

Latron Prime's base damage won't do anything to boxheads. Put on an AP mod.

I'm surprised you got the Latron Prime before you noticed that Corpus heads didn't take damage from regular bullets.

I'm pretty sure DE intended that to be one of the first things a player noticed once they entered Venus.

Damage 2.0 changed things.

not sure if corpus heads can be penetrated or just there for a damage modifier (not zero)
