Thrax Legatus Magnetic proc ignoring Arcane Nullifier

So, I can't tell if it's intended or not, but the Thrax Legatus' laser attack still gives a Magnetic proc despite having a maxed out Arcane Nullifier equipped. it properly blocks it for Thrax Centurion, and even Energy Leech Eximus. but everytime I get hit by the laser, it still gives Magnetic and drains all my Shields and Energy.
