The War Within Void Dash bug

I am typing this on behalf of my friend who is on the final section of The War Within and has encountered a game breaking bug. He is unable to use his void dash on the section that has you dash from platform to platform on his controller. As I type this he is trying on mouse and keyboard but I find it ridiculous that he has to do that. I have had him do a complete reinstall and it has yet to fix it. I don't know if this is a leftover bug from the operator rework or this is new to Veilbreaker but please look into it.   

 

Edit: it seems to be limited to controller on PC I just had him trying with mouse and keyboard and it finally worked.
