Mutualist Moa's 'puddles' not keeping color

Just as the subject says, I had to encounter them a couple of times before I was certain it wasn't just a one off but indeed any Mutualist Moa's 'puddles' for lack of better words (I don't know what the ability is called, can someone help with that by chance?) were very distinct yellows and now you see it cast yellow but as soon as it's on the ground it's just another gray on top of gray so not exactly easy to make out what's what. In steel path mode this could very well be as good as an instant KO unfortunately.
